[Flash Critical Beats]

Not bad.

I'm a huge fan of EBA, so here is my constructive review!

Some tips that could make it better in a possible sequel:
1. Higher FPS: The frame rate was far too slow in comparison to EBA. Make it like 24-48ish.
2. Make sounds for each beat: In EBA, it feels like you're a part of the song when it makes the little beat sound whenever you hit a note.
3. Nicer looking visuals: Make stuff prettier. Maybe whore it out with some gloss or something?

1. The FPS is at 60. I'll test raising it to the max (120) and see how it looks then.
2. Hmm... I know what you mean. I WAS going to except I actually didn't like the fact that EBA added those small beats. My friend suggested it to me also but I disregarded it. I think that adding those beats would "mess up" the song. I wanted the player to ONLY hear the song. But if you think it's better, I'll check it out.

Graphics: I didn't really like how none of the sprites were in the same style; like, you could have made them yourself if you have the attention span/MS Paint skills.

Style: I haven't seen a SSBM game before.

Sound: Some of the SSBM menu sound recordings were weird, like you cut some of it off so it doesn't echo. Also, the calm girl voice was weird.

Violence: It's a violent game. Yipee.

Interactivity: I found it very annoying how you would be completely fucked if a bee touched you in Race to the Finish, and how Master Hand can kill you in one hit. There's also a shitload more glitches and stuff, but I'm too lazy to type them.

Humor: No humor here.

Overall: I'll give you credit for doing all that hardcore ActionScripting, which must have been really hard, considering how much I suck at it.

But make it so that the graphics are better and so that the human player can actually use their super attacks.

The human player can see their super attacks. You obviously don't read instructions very well do you. You can only use super attacks WHEN YOUR HEALTH IS LOWER THAN 100.

What's the code for making a dress up where you click buttons to change stuff, such as yours? I only know how to do a drag and drop one. (did this review make any sense?)

A lot of room for improvement

You could definately work on the graphics, because they kind of look like crap (no offense lol). Also, I highly reccomend adding music, it would beef up your game a lot. Lastly, don't make one-hit-kills, it makes the game too easy. Take examples from similar games such as "Defend Your Castle", "Demonic Defence 3 & 4 (1 and 2 sucked...)", and "Storm the House".

[Flash Button Hit Tutorial]

I was always wondering what the hit thing did!!

Well I really hope that idiot flash artists look at this because I find it hard to click on a lot of buttons. Liiike the Mortal Kombat Mishaps flash. Those buttons were painful to click on. This helped alot, soo thanks.

You helped me out SOOO FRIGGING MUCH on this. I have learned more stuff here than I have anywhere else. This is by a landslide the best tutorial I have ever used. I have read every section of the Flash and Newgrounds subjects, mainly because I don't have Swift3D and I'm not really interested in Photoshop. In conclusion, YOU RULE!!!!!!!!!! (That's ten exclamation marks!)
